I feel more than school the friends you get there makes the difference...In my opinion govt school girls are more confident than others... in public schools u are forced to follow the rules which is good but it makes u a bit darpook... It should be the child's decision in which school she or he wants to be in...
Jassi was raised in a protective environment... Its not easy for her to come out of her shell...If suri wants an overnight change its impossible... I agree with that she has to slowly leave her hand... but if she again admits jassi to a normal school she likes she will never come out of her comfort zone... she will want to be in her comfort zone... but suri pushing her into it also not good... she has to find a midway.. like u said she can ask ria to help her..Originally posted by: Shwets1502
But if a child is directly admitted into an International school, do you think the child will grow to be confident naturally? Because of the varied options for extra curricular activities they have? I feel a child has more options to explore when you are in a big school.Govt school girls are confident too..in a different way I would say. They are more strong in facing life may be. But they are pretty bookish sometimes I feel. When it comes to choice, it has to be made with the child's consent and here it is Jassi. Jassi can't probably adapt to the change. Suri can't expect Jassi to become Ria immediately. In a way, she can request Ria to help Jassi.

i feel that she is trying to force her dreams on jassi... suri wanted to be modern she wanted all those opperutnities but what about jassi... does she want them??? and changing the school after u have been studying in the same school for a does affect a child... 9th 10th mein students have groups and they dont take in new persons in their group... bahut politics hai aajkal school mein bhi...Originally posted by: diyah_us
actually in one way v can relate to suri. bcos she was always ambitious types, but never got an opportunity to go in that way, and now she feels that her daughter can get that opportunity so
she is ready to go against her husband. i have not really seen international schools from what i
believe they seem to tell that they r the best but whichever school it might be it should not
be the decision of parents alone. the child has to get involved & nowadays all schools seem to
concentrate on extra curricular activities other than just academics. but international schools r more
for pride. but suris husband is also right but they seem to be living in a big house in the
same colony as nikkis but still they r shown to be less rich. their house also looked very big.
the cvs should keep these things in mind bcos such a big house in delhi could cost them a lot.

That;s entirely the point I couldn't understand. Why has Suri left to develop Jassi's personality all these years? Excuse of the city they were living isn't justified.I wouldn't actually deny. International schools do a lot for the development of the children's skills. Extra curricular is very important and also a getaway from studies. Keeps the mind cool. But its expensive. At the same time...the same development can be made in normal schools too provided parents take extra care.Here...Suri has to think about their financial stability too. If Jassi is put in an international school, Jogi has to go there too...Or say a college which is equal...Else partiality will crop in.Yes...the house is very big. But I don't see "normal" house being shown on television.
