The popular TV actor Yash Pandit, who was also featured in MTV Splitsvilla 8 has been accused for raping 28-year old actress at his Juhu residence in Mumbai. The victim actress said that Pandit raped her several times using marriage as the pretext.
The actress further said that police is not making a substantial effort to arrest Yash Pandit since his family has influential connections. According to the report of a leading daily, the victim whose identity is not revealed yet has said that ever since she met Pandit on September 13 they both had fornication several times and on couple of occasions, Pandit got intimate with her at his apartment by pretexting her that he'll introduce her to his parents.
Reports suggest that Pandit offered to be in a physical relation with her and has done this with many other girls.
The actress filed an FIR against Yash Pandit to expose his intentions but she soon realized that police were not trying hard to trace him.
As per the reports the Senior police inspector Sunil Ghosalkar has stated that police team is on hunt and are raiding on various places where it is suspected that Pandit is hiding.
