But I do agree with what House said about it though
Lemme quote him
"There is not a thin line between love and hate. There is --- in fact --- a Great Wall of China with armed sentries posted every 20 feet between love and hate." 😊

Damn! 😆 House was one hilarious guy! I miss him.

Well, the concept behind the thin line is that you love and hate with the same amount of intensity and at times, the hatred becomes love and you can't even understand how the hell that happened! 😆

No I understand what it means though
What I was trying to say is am as confused as House 😆

i.e. how can you love a person you hate & then again how can you possibly hate a person you love 😕

And yeah House was hilarious. I loved him. What an amazing character 👏

I think the reason behind it is that love and hate are very strong emotions. If you care SO MUCH about a person then you can hate them, same with love. You can't have indifference with either, so hence the saying.

Maybe the reason you hate someone is because you love/d them, because of whatever happened.

I don't know who House but he sounds like he would be a funny guy 😆

If someone did something you didn't like, you would dislike them for it, or just be indifferent about it. What most people don't realise that hate really is a very strong word to use.

Yeah maybe it's possible
Betrayal on the part of a person you love & trust would hurt more than anything else
Would feel like you have been cheated upon

And yes I agree with hate being a stronger feeling & that people are using it for every single thing they harbour a dislike for 😕

Haha Hugh Laurie played the role of genius doctor Gregory House on the show House M.D.
And yes he was simply hilarious
