The only person who made perfect sense was Parvati. Dadi questioned Swara, pointed out that the boys don't consider themselves her dost only, asked her why she has not yet signed the divorce papers, and finally showed her faith in Swara. Though it was not shown, I am sure she told Swara about AP and Sujata coming to her after the farmhouse fiasco and kickstarted Swara's sleeping brains.Dadi seems to be the only one who has learned from the past.
I was gnashing my teeth in the episode when Swara says she trusts Ragini since her tears show her sincerity...🤢 This was the lady who had connived, lied and cheated people, relying on those very same tears...Sigh...well, you know what they say, if you let someone fool you the second time, its not their fault anymore, its yours.
An aside: why do serials feel compelled to make the female lead into such a mahaan, doormat type character? Are smart, no nonsense types, who will do their very best to be helpful to others, but will also take care of their own interests, really so un-identifiable to TRP aunties? I would much rather think the Swara at the beginning of the serial was admirable, rather than the diluted version we are getting now.
Sorry, am ranting a bit. 😉 But I don't like the way they are messing with her character. Let's hope this kidnapping fiasco will open her eyes...though I fear it might not.
