She got all bad reviews, so big film did more damage to her career.

I think PRDP did more harm than good to Sonam's career..

At least before PRDP , she was doing small-scale female-centric films & she was free to take digs at accomplished actresses like DP ( which Sonam loves to do out of her insane insecurities/jealousy IMO ) but now even after nepotism led big film opposite a big star , she failed to make her mark & if she takes digs at A-list actresses again whilst bragging about "not being in the rat race & being content/happy in her own space without any male superstar or a flowerpot role in a big film" it will be seen as "grapes gone sour" and for a good reason too ( not that it wasnt so before 😆, its just that now it will be more evident 😆) ..

Nope..first of all there's no doubt that PRDP Underperformed and secondly the polarising reviews about her were more tilted towards negative..So...
*keep repeating from the above*

I haven't seen the film, but I'm sure the film's success was not because of her. They could have used any actress to fill her spot. She cannot make a film successful on her own. She needs to either work extremely hard and improve her acting skills, or just pursue a modeling career.

In sonam's case it was massive hate and less love. So she got an all out negative reviews.

😆 Repeating lies do not make them the truth. But it is to be expect from Sonam Kapoor haters. according to yall Sonam is finished since 2005 & she was yet to debute.🤪

On Topic, one more hit in her filmography so yes, PRDP did what it was supposed to do. It could have been a ATBB if SB did not go over budget & worked better on his script, but it is still a hit. Sonam will always gravitate towards small movies though, because that is where she shines best.

Maybe if another biggie with an interesting role crops up for her she would do it, but i see her going more & more direction alternative cinema. She should debut as a director soon too, so expect fewer movies in the future, OP
