@jayvenk: The sound from empty flask is also om (because its actually air which emits this sound). There is a small open in the thiruchendur temple. If you hear the sound of sea through the opening its again om. This means the sound emitted by water/ocean is also om. I mentioned these two as i personally experienced.
Coming to sita, she was from bhoomi. so she is just not lakshmi avatar, but i feel she is the pure form of om emitted by earth. i can be corrected if wrong.

Om according some is not the Pranava Mantra .
Mmm is the root mantra.
the sound of our breathing mmm that is Mool Mantra.
The O sound was added to dilute the power of the Moola mantra.
Om or Aum
Seeta is the very much the Avatar of Laksmi and anything that arises from the earth is pure.
The entire prakruthi is pure.
Take for example nature in the form of Trees and animals, they remain pure till they die and return to the earth.
We as a baby are also pure.
But we are humans affected by everything around us, wants, needs, expectations, ego, which changes us.
Having said that Seeta and Ram both being incarnations of Vishnu and Lakshmi are unaffected by anything "Human".
But Ram's action of sending Seeta to the forest when she was pregnant and having to prove her purity twice will always be debated.

Thank you jayvenak for such a beautiful piece of information. But I also have one question like Ramya. The answer to first question is Aakash. Science also tells about infinity before creation. So is this Aakash linked to that cosmic space before creation. And creation itself connected with Big Bang theory. Because from a scientific point of view Big Bang theory is the most used and accepted theory of origin of life on earth, followed by Darwin's law of evolution.
Darwin's law I have been able to connect to Dasavathar, but big bang theory and Indian mythology still confuses me. Though I believe the key elements of Big bang theory are available in our vedas.

The big bang theory according to the west. Hiranyagarbha according to our scholars. The golden egg or womb from which everything generated.
