Devsena and Pundit try to convince Dadi to not initiate the process of Manu becoming the 'devrakshika' as a punishment. The hermit has a very emotional conversation with Manu about her life ahead.
Manu desperately wants to tell the hermit about the threat to Madhav's life, but couldn't. When Badi Rani and Choti Rani go to wish Madhav the next morning, he goes missing and snake skin is found.
