Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are currently on a promotion spree for their upcoming film Tamasha and are going all out for the same. After promoting their movie on shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, I Can Do That among others, it was obvious to expect the duo promoting the film on television's another popular show Bigg Boss 9, hosted by Salman Khan.
While the promotions of Tamasha are surely happening on the show, there is an expected twist in it. The twist is that Deepika will be going solo to promote her film on the show and Ranbir Kapoor will be giving it a miss!
And we surely don't need to give you the reason behind Ranbir skipping the show!
A source close to the show informed Mid-Day, "Ranbir has decided to skip Bigg Boss 9 because of Salman. After all, meeting your girlfriend's ex is always awkward."
Incidentally, there were reports that at a Diwali bash recently, when Salman met Katrina and Ranbir, he reportedly ignored the Kapoor scion and spoke only to his ex-flame.
Given that background, the source added, "Now, Ranbir clearly doesn't wish to make things any more awkward by going to the reality show sets and sharing screen space with Salman," adds another source. As far as Deepika is concerned, she will shoot for the special episode in Lonavla today. After she is escorted into the Bigg Boss 9 house, contestants will try to woo her."
Meanwhile, our source close to the channel, revealed to us, "Deepika and Ranbir have been promoting together on all shows. This time they wanted to be different. Also, we haven't seen Salman and Deepika together."
Well, we surely get the hint guys! Don't you all get it?
