I don't know what strategic acting means, but I prefer natural acting and versatile acting. People like Madhuri, Kajol, and Kareena, have a strong screen presence and can naturally emote very well. I also like the type of actors who can convincingly play dramatically different characters (Shahrukh early in his career, Aamir, Tabu, and Konkona).

Subtle and understated acting is what I love to watch. Do not get what you mean by strategic acting, do you mean to say method acting done by theater actors as opposed to actors who deliver spontaneously?

Yes, I mean method acting. Priyanaka and kangana have both spoken about how they emote keeping the character graph in mind and how there is a technique involved.
