Aamir Khan's car (MH 02 JD 7) banged into a Hero Honda near Rajpuri, Satara yesterday evening. The actor was not in the vehicle but in another car that was following the Merc, which had his bodyguards.

The Dangal actor was on his way to his Panchgani farmhouse to spend the weekend, to recuperate from his recent shoulder injury.

The injured, identified as Manoj Tukaram (35), was rushed to the hospital.

Confirming the same, constable Kulkarni from the Panchgani police station told 9xe, "Aamir co-operated with the police."

According to the police, the actor's driver has been arrested and relevant sections under the Indian Penal Code have been applied. He will be produced in the court on Monday.
