Just being ordinary makes it so special: Shah Rukh Khan on chemistry with Kajol!
A love that blossomed with Baazigar had cemented with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. That was 20 year back. After two decades and four more films, Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are back with their seventh film together. Rohit Shetty's Dilwale. And the most loved on-screen jodi took a trip down memory lane as they launched theGerua track from their film in Maratha Mandir, where DDLJ is still running to packed houses.
The love anthem is finally here and what captures the ye is the soulful, melodious rendition along with the picturesque locales and the much anticipated SRK-Kajol's lethal combo. Evergreen, magical, crackling- these are words the audiences associate the two with. Ask Kajol about how she would describe her chemistry with SRK and she smiles, "The way I look at it is Oh wow, we have done such a good job and we have given such a great shot together'. We look at our work per say."
But Shah Rukh elaborately explained it. "I never thought that what we are doing is something special or extraordinary. Just being ordinary makes it look so special. When we watch ourselves on screen, we feel, Areh, yeh toh acha ho gaya yaar'. We never thought about it really. Over the years, people have asked us so often about this chemistry and I wish I had a different answer. The best part, according to me is we both don't know how good we can be. That's why we look good." And like Kajol said, "Where's the mystery in knowing anyway?"
The love track from the film was unveiled amidst much fan fare with Varun Dhawan andKriti Sanon presenting a special tribute to Shah Rukh and Kajol as well.
