@Priakachan: I think you are missing the point. All of your rambling sums up to one thing...that season 1 had better creatives...well DUHH...everyone agrees on that...that is what many ppl including the TM are saying too...that the DIRECTOR isn't able to guide the actors properly this season...and Niti relies more on those instructions than Parth does...that is what is coming through.

You are referencing season 1 scenes that were MINUTELY monitored by RY and her team...thus the output.

Goodness, I seriously didn't think I was bashing Niti in any way in my posts here. Yes I feel that Niti looks bored and uninterested in Manan scenes while Parth still manages to deliver what is required of those scene. And note here, I am talking about Manan scenes given the BS writing given to them this season.

I have talked many times about how Nandani is being thrown under the bus to sell Arya and even Maddy. Even Manik as a character is brought down to sell Maddy. Most of the issues that Nanadani's character face has already been discussed by me in other posts and those that have seen them know where I stand with regards to Arya and the stupid writing of this season to sell him and Maddy.

However in this post specifically I just talked about Manan and if peeps would just read my posts here I have clearly pointed out that my main issue is the writing and direction and that I don't see this improving unless the writing picks up. And even with regards to Niti I have ultimately put the blame on the director for failing to make her deliver what she is supposed to for now.

I don't blindly follow either Manan, Niti or Parth. I'm as much a fan of Niti as I am of Parth which is limited to Manan and Manik and Nandani.

And I have even talked about where they both deliver such as the drunk scene somewhere here.

I give credit where credit is due and if anyone found my post offensive to Niti then I'm sorry that really wasn't my intention.

Yaar...that is what I too meant. Actually I was not rambling...just pointing out a few more points that can actually make the sparks reappear.

I mean...the same creatives can do all these! It's not as if they don't know to bring in old stylists for dress, hair or bring in some romantic back ground music/songs to go with the mood of a romantic scene..slow motions to add sparks to MaNan scenes. I agree Richa ma'am did it better and now I feel the new creative can also do the same thing na?😆

Now I heard a new CV is coming up...I hope that the new CV atleast shows a MaNan romantic scene aesthetically...more romantically...so that the sparks fly between the lead and audience re-watch the videos again and again! Atleast that must be the target of CVs!😆 I hope CVs also make Nandu stop acting like a butterfly and act a bit more settled around Manik. If they show it that way atleast audience will enjoy it. Manik is shown to be craving for Nandini to stay some more time with him and atleast for that scene...they can show them together. Kuch nahi tho raaasta bhatkaake dono ko kisi jangal main ya phir raste ke kisi wooden isolated hut main bhej do! Baarish..thand...fire lit and slow romantic music and sparks flying etc! Aur haan thodi der ke liye phone ke network bhi weak kardo taakki Aryaman ke calls Nandini tak na aaye! Then Fab 5 goes searching for them! Atleast there will be one jangal romance! 😆

Now I'm not privy to SNS behind the scenes drama that you all seem to be referencing so pardon my ignorance...I'm speaking strictly to the content at hand.

Parth is not acting to his season 1 levels of Manik either, true but comparatively he is doing better than Niti in terms of nuance...he still manages to atleast LOOK in love with Nandu to some extent while Nandu genuinely looks either zoned out or plain bored by his attentions or affections. You seem to feel differently, we can leave it as a difference of opinion...but I frankly don't see anything onscreen to corroborate your claim of there is nothing off with Niti...the crappy writing adds to the mess but Niti looks disinterested in general unless she's in a good mood enough to put some effort like the drunk scene.

This has become a mood exercise now...lol given the sheer off the charts levels of incompetency under which this show is being run and produced...

You are talking about damage control...well LOL this is what was bound to happen when ppl quit per whims, fans trend per whims...I'd said back then also that the momentum is gone and it's a lost proposition to expect it to come back...so in some ways it's playing out as expected...I expected the crappy nonsensical writing and drag...what I didn't expect was Parth managing to give some semblance of conviction to this hollow version of MaNan too...and ironically that is when Niti's lack of interest gets highlighted more...if he was also doing this in a bored fashion, none of this would come to light...everyone could resign to the inevitable decline...but the gap in sync shows.

Anyways I hear today's epi was better...lol one decent scene for every crappy 10 epis...yay KY2😆

I have been following ur posts ever since MaNan s2 started...nd i always felt ur posts were unbiased nd objective . If ppl r making it parth vs niti it is their problem😆...so chill

The current Manan have no nuances in their interactions, not even that of a normal couple of Saas Bahu drama level. (forget our extraordinary platinum couple, this version of Manan is an insult to the original to be honest in my POV)

Niti's looks bored and uninterested in her scenes with Parth, specially any scenes with even a hint of intimacy be it just those involving showing concern and care or the so called "romantic" scenes of this season.

The only thing that is note worthy and deserves credit for whatever Manan feels there is, is because of Parth for 95% of the time . Even with the horrible writing and lackluster quality to Manan scenes and cheesy dialogues, Parth manages to portray passion and intensity on Manik's part but with the shoddy writing and an uncooperative costar he can't sell Manan alone. Parth alone just can't sell Manan,...not with THIS writing and THIS director even if we discount Niti and what ever her problem is in portraying Manan these days.

I feel they should end Manan now, and carry on with the rest of the cast and free Parth from this.The director is obviously incompetent which is why he/she is unable to make Niti emote as she is supposed to even for these lukewarm scenes between them.
If Niti wants to continue, they can bring a look alike of Nanadani who can romance Arya, be bffs with all the guys of Space academy and have tashan with numerous Maddy's.

Just have Manan leave to Pune together to live with Manik's dad to live happily ever after and free Parth and us Manan fans from this torture please.

PS: I'm saying this irrespective of all the issues with how Nandani is being used to sell Arya, her friendship with Arya, lack of an over all story line for S2 and the loony saga called Mukti/Navya and adoption.
Even with all this if Manan charm can be brought back then the rest does not matter. But as it is now I feel that there is no use in even talking about these issues because its so irrelevant compared to how Manan is being diluted day by day..And actually with this Manan, characters like Arya is going to TOTALLY RUIN Manan if they continue in the same vain.

Edit: I'm eternally grateful to Niti and Parth for giving my Manan of Season 1. You guys gave me the best love story ever so far. And of course how can I forget RY and the great directors like Rajeev sir and the rest of the crew of S1. Kudos to all of you guys. ❤️

I feel the same thing. The connection isn't there anymore between the characters, it seems forced. The "chemistry" between them isn't coming along the lines as it did in season 1. I just think KY2 should end before it turns out to be too terrible. KY2 S1 did give us a beautiful story, but that story is being destroyed as S2 is being carried on.
