Still very strange calling a show season 1,2,3,4 just very strange not getting it

The season 1,2 is when a show has gone off air and come back in a few months or or so

But like u say prem must be QH lingo

Because each season there's been atleast 2 male leads and sometimes they get replaced too esp in season one where both men got replaced.

Surbhi has played four characters: Zoya and then Sanam and Seher who were Zoya's twin girls and now Mahira who isn't blood related to the Ahmed Khan family and I guess you could count Jannat in Surbhi's list of characters too since though Jannat was meant to be Sanam with amnesia, she actually just seemed like a completely different character. Basically every time a new Surbhi character comes in a new story starts after a leap with new leads and that's why everyone calls it seasons because they're basically different love stories and it's easier to keep track of which "season" you liked this way. They basically press reset by doing a leap and start a new story with Surbhi playing a new character and new romance once they screwed up the other one.
