Obviously, actions speak louder than words, as Bertie said, his " love you" was more of a formality, his actions were the big deal, by giving up his status of a king and leaving his rajmahal for her he showed the depth of his feelings towards her, feelings that could even make him overcome his first love, a love he mourned for six long years with so much dedication and pain!
So Ranaji's love confession scene here is a sweet one, more close to real ones, nothing of the passionate, dramatic love confessions which happen in some extreme circumstances! that doesn't make it less beautiful though I love those kind of passionate love confessions to bits, but what matters in any love confession is the sincerity of it, and here Ranaji was sincere, at first it came like ' how much I love this nakrili girl" lovingly, the way you would adore the antics of a little child, this is how that first 'I love you" was, but then he explained her in hindi words that he loves her, he was tender, sincere, emotional and loving and obviously she was overwhelmed to hear the three words from the man she has always dreamt of, obviously she knew he loves her before hearing them, he proved it with actions, but any girl will like to hear it!
1- They first started their day with lighting a diya and we know they never miss an eyelock!

2- As I said Gayatri knew he loves her (how can she doubt after all what he did), she remembered the diwali challenge and that she won his love!
Randomly here, I would like to say that her flashback looks was more royal, and kind of more fit maybe to the era the show was sit in, and she looked beautiful in it, not that the pink saree wasn"t beautiful, she looked like a fresh flower in it, but her outfit didn't indicate her being a queen nor belonging to the 1940!!
One more random remark, Ranaji looked dashing and kind of snobbish in the flashback, he had that smirk of disbelief and challenge! I adored Gayatri"s attitude too!

3- Mother-son's full reconciliation sealed with a hug now
Rajmata: humne aapko ek raja ki tara bara kiya hai, aaj ek bete ki tara vida karenge, Indra!! (I brought you up as a king, today I'll send you off as a son)

4- Now this is a cute avi of our Ranaji, after his wife got upset, he looked like a frustrated typical husband 😆 (loved that shot, the way he had one hand on the steer and the other on his mouth! )
5- How cute my wife is even when she is naraaz, u pagal I love u (this one is from u Chicksoup)
Waise I like the way, tone in which he said I love you, nodding his head, like in I'm helpless, tum hai hoon itni pyaari ki impossible not to love u!

6- Gayatri didn't understand and thought he was giving her gaali in english 😆

7- He makes her shut up putting a finger on her lips and he cups her face tenderly...she got surprised, she forgot all her anger and looked at him curiously!

8- He then explains with so much love that I love you means 'hum aapse pyaar karte hai...". She was taken aback and then she smiled!!

9- and he carries on to her great happiness, ki .. sabse zada ( meaning he loves her the most in this world, more than anything/anyone else)

10- Then comes that beautiful forehead kiss, I said it many times, I just love the forehead kiss because it reflects respect, protection along with love, and we know that respecting and protecting loved ones is as much important as loving them if not more important than just loving them, though love itself implies that you would respect and protect the one u love, but still, I feel the forehread kiss kind of insists on that, no wonder a father and a brother usually kiss on the forehead

11-

12- Ranaji explains to her that people might think he is a begura king! but Gayatri says if someone dares to say it, she will smash their face😆 and then Ranaji says something that proves his unconditional love " aapki pyaar mein, hume zilat bhi manzoor hai", really couples are made in heaven, and this one is a made for each other couple, even if this is romantic, and touching, but please dear king and queen, no zilat, not a queen who is ready to become a daasi, nor a king who can accept to be demeaned, yes I can accept that maybe in extreme circumstances for example when they do it to save each other's life or honor, but now it's not necessary, moving out of the palace could have been enough, having a house of their alone in Amerkot itself not Darjling. I'm romantic myself and I really find it a very big thing to leave all for you lady love but he is a king and she is a queen, we need now to see more of that, I want to see the smart Ranaji again, who can find a win-win solution even in difficult times
Ranaji's expressions are beautiful by the way, he is oozing tenderness! lucky Gayatri !

13- And then comes a promise of togetherness, Ranaji says : ab hume koi alag nahi kar sakta (good luck with that) moot bhi nahi (it will be around most of the time, but yes it won't at least not now), I loved Gayatri's emotional smile here and Ranaji's gestures, hayeee he treats her like a baby again rubbing her hair with his hand how sweet!! and they hug each other obviously (beautiful one)!

P.S : Ignore any typos, haven't proofread the post, so lazy now to read it once again, will check it later!
