We've seen SRK and Hrithik fail to deliver the biggest hit of the year on this holiday year after year, and now Salman Joins the list with his failure that is PRDP?

If I was a Khan I'd be racing to book all future Eid and Christmas holidays in the future.

Why does the trend after Diwali weekend always drop so low? First HNY and PRDP goes even lower on the first weekday?

LOL doubt that contributed to their failure. A good script would work any weekend of the year. If you churn crap out then expect rejection by default.

It might have to do with the fact that Diwali is a community holiday with fireworks, and people going out. No one wants to sit for hours in the cinema during diwali with all the festivities going on in the neighbourhood. Eid and christmas by comparison is much more quieter. There's less activities and less rituals that take up most of your day. So people are free to go to the theaters. During eid many of my friends go to the theater and dinner after. During Diwali my hindu friends usually spend it with family and friends.

It's a good release date, just the films have been CRAP.

Look at what actually released on Diwali:

2015: PRDP
2014: Happy New Year
2013: Krrish 3
2012: JTHJ/Son of Sardaar
2011: Ra.One
2010: Golmaal 3/Action Replayy

Itni bakwaas filmein hongi toh obviously the fall in business after the holiday will be big 😆

Christmas/Pre-christmas releases:

2015: Dilwale/Bajirao Mastani
2014: PK
2013: Dhoom 3
2012: Dabangg 2
2011: Don 2
2010: Tees Maar Khan
2009: 3 Idiots

Compared to Diwali, the films on Christmas have been comparatively better, maybe if Aamir Khan was not there then inka bhi yahi haal hota 😆
