NoBel Prize 2007 : Who should Win ?

One of the most prestigious international awards, the Nobel Peace Prize, is to be announced. Who do you think deserves it?

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has received 181 nominations for the $1.5 million Nobel Peace Prize for 2007.

The former US vice-president, Al Gore, is among the favourites to win for his work raising awareness on environmental issues, particularly global warming. Another environment activist, Sheila Watt-Cloutier from Canada, is also a favourite.

Mercy Corps, a British charity, has also been nominated for its work in some of the world's poorest countries.

Who is the worthiest of all for the Nobel Peace Prize this year? Should it be Al Gore or another environment campaigner? Or do you think it should go to someone outside north America?
