from whatever we have seen till now..it is clear that shesha is out to take revenge for her husband's murder ...as it was clearly said by that snake charmer..and also in flashback we saw both sesha and her husband being attacked...hence the face of his murderers are imprinted in her memory...she is out to kill ritwik and his father...she has till now cause no harm to anyone else..not the mother or the other kids who are easy targets
another thing ...she has been harping about some incomplete love story being rewritten ...
i think shivanya is out to avenge that portrait wala king's reincarnation that is ritwik...even in promo she says that it was not easy for her to come in front of him...now was he her lover who betrayed her or she was misled further episodes will reveal..
but yes shesha is an antagonist hence for all we know it may be shown that shesha had some ulterior motive and trapped shivanya in this revenge game...
coz in the preview for next week we do see her shouting at that portrait that she will not leave till she takes his life...i think this story goes much beyond 20 years...and ritik's father was protecting his family or something coz of his ancestor king ...otherwise why hide all this stuff from ritwik and tear the portrait ...
right now shivanya may have shesha as a confidante and accomplice but yes..shesha is not merely a side kick...she will show her true self in the future...
