Truer words have never been spoken, especially when it comes to Indian TV soaps. Respect seems to throw around in scenes, as if is is a mandatory right for everyone. Respect the elders, respect your parents, respect your neighbors, and of course respect your husband. And maybe these are my modern thoughts, as Indian shows put it, but I will respect you until you stop respecting me. Because before everyone else, I have to respect myself first, give myself a higher priority than you.

Its like the saying, you have to love yourself first, before you can really love someone else, I believe this falls within the same realm and go in tandem. Love and Respect.

And I feel like this show is severely lacking respect and love. Accusations fly around and trust is broken, yet people still *cough* Swara and Sharmishta *cough* still hold them dear. I know you can't just get rid of emotions, as Sanskaar beautifully put it, but put yourself first before them once.

Sanskaar is a whole other story. Honestly, if I was him, I would of kicked Swara out a while ago, but this man can't be selfish even if he could lose his love forever (again). And maybe that is why I love the character so much, because you dream about those loves. But in reality, it is really hard to find a selfless soul like that. But at least he knows, at the end of the day, he has to love himself as well and which is why he won't off himself when Swara leaves.

Laksh is a subject I rather not broach, cause I might go on for days...😆

@ bold purple: I'll take him to the mental health clinic and then to Hospital Rehabilitation Centre for his addiction of trying to commit suicide over his lust. Suicide is NOT a CRIME... it's a mental health issue. Sorry, but in New Zealand it's a health issue (depression), it only becomes a crime when someone forces you to commit suicide like how Ragini told Lakshya to cut his wrist that is a CRIME because it's making him harm himself on someone else's insists. But, in India suicide must a different idea on what suicide is and they define it as a crime.

MY SELF RESPECT MATTERS TO ME THE MORE... NOT CHANGING FOR ANYONE
