Could Salman have played the role of Bajirao better than Ranveer?

We all know that Salman was supposed to play the role of Bajirao,but I think it's good that he hasn't play this role!Because I seriously feel that Salman couldn't play this role better than Ranveer!Ranveer has worked really hard for this film,and it shows on screen!I loved him in the teaser and the poster!
But what do you guys think?

Salman is Amazing in Intense roles . His Previous movies are examples of it . He would have been amazing as Bajirao . HIs Physique is exactly like a King . Salman-Aish-Rani would have been an Epic Team . Anyways Doesn't matter now as Ranveer-Deepika-Priyanka did the movie .

Bajirao is shown as a lusty man in the Deewani Mastani song...! 😛So he fits the bill completely. The lust and desperation in his eyes for Mastani can only come from Veer. To me, the movie gives off a very disgusting vibe. Husband salivating and lusting on a dancer while wife watches it from above...! 👎🏼😛

Salman is a good actor. He can be lazy but he IS a good actor always has and always will.

It's really a pity that the movie couldn't have been made with Salman Aish and Rani or SRK Aish Rani. So much antagonism between these three that the promos would have been assured since the cast announcement.

I know working hard doesn't mean delivering a good performance,that's why I've wrote that I liked him in the teaser and the poster!And Salman is a natural actor,but for doing a role like Bajirao the actor needs to work hard,and nowadays Salman doesn't show any interest in working hard for a movie(but I'm happy that he is surprisingly working hard for Sultan)!

Barring few exceptions like Tere Naam, Salman generally acts as Salman Khan in every movie. If the character in the movie synchs with his real self (like Sajan, HAHK or HDDS), they look great. Unfortunately, Baijirao is NOT one such character.

I understand what you're saying but nowadays aren't actors preparing "too" much for their roles ? And sometimes the results aren't even great...

I feel Salman wouldn't have needed to prepare as much because he already got "it". Also he's quite serious when the role requires it. He has shown so much dedication for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo for exemple and it shows in the trailer whereas for movies like Kick or Ek Tha Tiger preparation isn't needed because the roles he plays in those movies don't require much.

No issues yaar,I respect your opinion!I know that Salman has already got "it",but I really think he is the least interested in his work as an actor between the Khan's!In last five years I've liked only two movies of Salman,one is Dabangg and another one is Bajrangi Bhaijaan!I just want to see him being interested in his work,because only then he can be happy with the work he is doing!Now looking forward to Sultan,he seems genuinely excited about a film after a long time!So can't wait for Sultan 😛

After watching the intensity with which Ranveer is playing this role...IMO...its a big fat NO...
