For an actress to turn down meaty projects with well-known production houses is no mean act. However, Hina Khan of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame made a tough choice by rejecting not one, but two irresistible offers to play leading heroine in prime time dailies.
We gathered lately that Hina, whose rose to fame as Akshara Singhania, a dutiful Marwari woman in Rajan Shahi's long-running show, was once offered to play Pragya's role in Ekta Kapoor's Kumkum Bhagya. In addition, she was also considered as the lead heroine Sita for Nikhil Sinha's upcoming epic saga Siya Ke Ram co-starring Ashish Sharma.
But, Hina was not ready to leave YRKKH because she owes her fame and name to the series and was happy with the way the story of the show was shaping up. Hence, she rejected the two offers. The role of Pragya and Sita ultimately went to Sriti Jha and Madirakshi respectively.

Quite a fact, no?


I wish she had taken them though because akshara's character has been ruined since 2014.
