Okay, i had the fortune to watch Jazbaa šŸ˜†
i had least expectations from this, was forced to sit through and watch it .

surprisingly the film was not bad for a thriller, it did have few good moments, and the suspense was well built too.

But ohh boy Aish .. i do not know what adjective to use here, she made me laugh in a potential tragic scene where i was supposed to feel bad for her character . she looks great, no second thoughts in that, but what did she eat or drink to deliver this high pitched, screechy, annoying and beyond traumatizing performance ?šŸ˜•

And, i think i am the only one who found Irfan's performance bland and boring .. his character was illogical , and Irfan did not do anything great here ..

It's a fad to hate on Ash on this forum so I am not surprised. Audiences out there are genuinely liking her performance. Most critics too gave her decent reviews.

Personally, she was good for the most of the film except a scene or two where she went overboard. I don't blame her. That's S Gupta's style. She is a director's actor after all.

Irrfan, again, was let down by the direction. But he still made Yohan come alive. Btw, he too went overboard in a few places. Again I only blame the director.

who told you that i hate Aish ? šŸ˜•

Irrfan was disappointing, given the fact that people always expect a good performance from him and blaming the director is petty in such cases.

Aish, well it was a poor come back.. that is all i can say about her .. hope ADHM delivers in a big way ..

Why is blaming the director petty? šŸ˜• He is the captain of the ship, and actors live out his vision. If his vision is not convincing then the actors' performance shows.

I am glad a lot of people liked her and the film also got decent reviews. Good for her. Up next are Sarabjit and ADHM, and hope she delivers in them too.

Except for 1-2 scenes which was intentionally made OTT and dramatic(thanx to the director) she was VERRY Good throughout the film. The interval scene was too long and the smo-mo made it hard to connect with the character, other than that Ash was amazing throughout. She was simply superb in the scenes where she was just supposed to be a lawyer.. the court scenes/investigation/arguments. She conveyed grit and power with great restraint.
