Sooraj Barjatya introduces Maithili, Prems Princess - PRDP

Bless Sooraj Barjatya for sticking to his guns, it might've taken 5 months but it all worked out in the end. Nothing wrong with having x,y,z actresses potentially on standby, that's how the movie industry works.
I can understand Salman's trepidation in doing a full blown romantic film with Sonam (although I find it funny that his fine romancing Sonakshi whose younger than Sonam - guess he only met her when she was older ??.)

To think Sonam was Maithili in June 2013 she found out in November of that year, that she'd be "DOING" the film but never leaked any of this til the right time (when she personally confirmed the news during promotions of Bewakoofiyaan). If this was anybody else it would've been headline news in at least 24hrs of being "approached" or even "considered" lol.

I have no doubts his now thankful that he conceded defeat & allowed Sooraj Barjatya Sir the heroine he wanted from the get-go !. I loved how he described the character too & it's no wonder he could only see Sonam as her. The guy held out for 5 months, it goes to show how strong his vision for the film is.

so this is the reason why names like deepika ,sonakshi, and others came up.. salman was not ready... but its destiny and only sonam had to play that role and it happned

Sonam is too tall but I'm cool with romancing Sushmita Sen lol. Still laughing at the "she's too young" BUT Sonakshi is younger than her.

Sooraj Sir is just like, mate give it up already, I only want her in the role. I can get replacements BUT I don't want them lol

really...salman is just so adorable and cute... and sonam is equally an affectionate person and we could clearly see her showering affection with those cute hugs to salman all the time... they are the most cutest jodi ever offsreen and onscreen..
