There is more. This case happened in 1950s when jury system was followed in India. The coverage in the newspapers swayed the jury and they pronounced Nanavati not guilty. Later he lost the case in a higher court. As a result of this case jury system was removed.

Neeraj is probably thinking he (his director) can finish his movie before Pooja's and can have the edge over that one, like Baby and Phantom.

Yeah and there is a whole provision in the IPC which was inserted as a result of this case 😆 This plot has been done to death..God knows why these ppl cant come up with something new 😆

There was one more movie of Sunil Dutt based on the same case. But I think they did change the plot a little bit though.

I think the Pooja one is already shot or atleast started shooting. Plus she makes quickly shot, low budget movies.

The Pooja Bhatt one got delayed. It's going on floors in Jan.
