Maybe Digi parents got to know about that puneet is going in BB9 as wild card entry so they went to his house as they are very (over )protective parents.

I think they met him before he enter the house. Even while entering puneet kissed diggy forehead first and said its from ur papa. So its obvious he knew her parents and Diggy might not know this. But he clearly said to her the kiss was behalf of her Dad then again why she is denying the fact puneet didn't know her parent?! 🤔

Dig did not mean that their family doesnt know him. It was not phrased properly..i think she meant we are not that close that mu family would be disappointdd in me choosing rishab over you. this is what i thought

I think Puneet was lying for the task ! Because when he was telling diggy about her family,Diggy dint believed him. Thats why he was keep talking and talking.
