What went down at the Masala! Awards last night

Well, at least Mahira Khan has something to be happy about it!

The actress, who came under hot water for the controversial picture she took on Halloween, added a feather to her cap as she bagged the Best Actress award for Bin Roye last night at the Masala! Awards.

The leading lady clad in an Eva Emanuelsen gown shared, "In my own small way, I am representing Pakistani cinema here today on an international platform.."

The grand affair, which happened in Dubai, is an annual celebration of the talents and achievements of the media community in the region. Last year, the event was attended by Fawad Khan and Humaima Malick, when the actor won 'Best Bollywood Debut' for his Sonam Kapoor starrer, Khoobsurat and Humaima picked up an honour for 'Breakthrough Performer (Pakistani Cinema)'.

Jacqueline Fernandez rang in three millions followers on Instagram and chose to bug Varun Dhawan about it.

Meanwhile, Dhawan had other things to celebrate.

Sanam Saeed, who has been a little MIA, was also spotted.

Sonakshi Sinha was killing it on the dance floor.

Farhan Saeed performed his rendition of Halka Halka Suroor Hai. We wish he had put it a little more effort into that cringe-worthy lip-syncing!

It didn't really matter though; he won the 'Most Promising Singer' award anyway and he and his lady love, Urwa Hocane looked like a million bucks on the red carpet.

We couldn't stop drooling over Sonal Chauhan's gown.

Though we weren't so impressed with Jacqueline's ensemble. Ironically, she won the 'Style Icon' award!
