How do we rate Ranveer's career since 2010? Has he done okay?

😉 Looking at Ranveer's filmography (he will be celebrating 5 years now since his debut in 2010), he has done 8 movies with lead roles (yet to be released Baijaro Mastani). His major successes are Band Baaja Baaraat, Ram Leela, Gunday. So-so movies are Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl, DDD. He has a critically acclaimed role in Lootera. He only had one real stinker Kill Dil, but didn't affect his career. If Baijaro Mastani is a blockbuster, can he go into superstardom? I rate his career above average. It is not stellar though. But, his selection of films are pretty good. He ventured out of Yash Raj and developed a good relationship with SLB. Please share your thoughts.

I think he's done well but he could have handled his career better. He's done lots of bad films like Gunday, Kill Dill...

But his filmography is good! He needs to keep pushing himself and Im sure he will surpass the young lot. Bajiao will be a turning point in his career.

right now, average. after BM, above average... in 10 years, excellent.
it will take longer time for outsiders or semi-outsiders to get a foothold.
they don't get to debut on movies directed by karan johar or acclaimed filmmakers like Bhansali...

Ranveer's first two movies were with nobody people knew at that time but he was destined to stay in bollywood, he put his best foot forward in bbb n BBB was loved by masses... after that came Lootera, where he showed he can act well.. film didn't do well as nobody knew ranveer... had lootera released today, it would easily be a hit or semi-hit.

after that came ramleela, which propelled him to A-list... still he doesn't have the links and foothold where he will keep on getting big directors after 3-4 flops like abhisekh or biru...

Today, neither being kapoor nor dhawan, he gets big directors because everyone knows his potential now... and a pathetic nepotistic director like Karan Johar who said before BBB that this guy cannot be a hero, cannot ruin his career now even if he wants...🥳

So, that's his career so far.. i find it satisfying and pleasing... He will go very far..last time i rooted for someone was shah rukh khan just after bazigar release.. those days, he was called monkey, dwarf, ugly and what not! i used to fight with sunny deol n akki fans 😆... i won big time with those friends because SRK reached the top...

Ranveer is in movies because it's his lifelong interest, there's no family tradition or pressure coming to play.. such person with comfort for masses will be superstars, there's no doubt

He is the Shahid of 2010s-In the news for his relationships...BO ke naam ke thenga.

Right Now he is nothing... Jhand Actor & ussey bhi jhand iski dressing sense... he needs to give at least SOLO CLEAN HITS rather experimenting in his films.
