Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 has emerged the the third biggest hiot of the year after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tanu Weds Manu returns. The top five hit films of 2015 till date are as follows.

1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan - All Time Blockbuster

Distributor Share - 162.59 crore

2. Tanu Weds Manu Returns - Blockbuster

Distributor Share - 68.81 crore

3. Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 - Super Hit

Distributor Share - 28.50 crore (expected)

4. ABCD 2 - Hit

Distributor Share - 51.10 crore

5. Piku - Hit

Distributor Share - 35.54 crore

There are five main releases left with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Tamasha, Hate Story 3, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastaani and all five can work it can turn out to be an average year rather than a poor one but all five working is probably an unlikely scenario.

Good this trend now many unexpected movies stand chance to be success. Surprise hit of the year is PKP but except Bajrangi all in top are franchise hits I think after this year more franchise movies going to come. 162 crores thats big money distributers got.
