Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani has
been in the news for quite sometime now.
While the film now stars Ranveer Singh,
Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the
lead, not many will be aware that SLB
originally wanted to cast his blockbuster pair
of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - Salman Khan and
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.
Interestingly, when we met Salman Khan
recently for the interactions for his upcoming
Diwali dhamaka Prem Ratan Dhan Payo , the
actor had expressed his views on the film's
first look and teaser.
"I feel unfortunate to not be part of Bajirao
Mastani . But I had to be part of Prem Ratan
Dhan Payo . Me and Kareena also did a photo
session together. (Now) I have seen the
promo of it ( Bajirao Mastani) ...it has been
done on a large scale. I think all three -
Ranveer, Priyanka and Deepika are amazing,"
said Salman.
So when we asked Ranveer on what he has to
say to Salman's reaction, the Bajirao
Mastani star stated, "I know Salman Sir was
supposed to play Bajirao, but I have worked
really hard for the film and I hope I can make
him proud."

Salman appreciated teaser and look of BM. Ranveer is a very nice guy very respectful to everyone he has done so much hardwork for Bajirao character i hope this role put him in big league he should come to big boss to promote Bajirao i want to see Salman and Ranveer interact.
