Was there a reason to add the label of "religious Muslims"?

Why are they any different from other fans? I'm a religious Muslim so I'm different than usual or something?

How do you know how religious someone is?

They're still South Asians. Religious or not, they are part of the same land and culture and language. I don't see why they're singled out to be somehow different than the rest of South Asia.

My more conservative cousins love Kareena. So? Is that something so exceptional?
