well i am not either depressed or tense cuz i started wacthing kasturi for ronak if there is no ronak there is no kasturi for me i had done that before too with kzk mr bajaj dead then no more kzk he returned i am back on watching kzk. so i am completely fine with it. 😆 😳

i think we all take it a lil' too far defending our favorite charecters using references to real life,(knowing tht is the stupidest thing considreing this is a k-soap 😆 ), using examples n all tht good stuff...i am guilty of defending my fav. charecters...but i do realize tht this is jus a show n i would neva hurt sum1's feeling jus becasue they disagree w/ me on certain subjects...you guys are all great 😳

Awww JW another heart-warming post!🤗 Yes, attaching yourself to much to a piece of fiction, will not only affect your every day life but also yourself. You don't want to get so attached, that you won't be able to concentrate on your own real life problems, exams, school etc

Yes you cry once in a while in a scene you find sad, get elated at a scene you find great, but then in the end, after you switch of your television/log off your computer reel life ends and real life begins...😛

Forget the serial, I can say for myself that I enjoyed reading and writing on this forum more than the actual show, just cause it's much more funner! Atleast unlike the show, we all participate in the forum with variations of thought, likes and dislikes.

OK, I have a different opinion about at least part of the issue.

I don't think there is anything wrong in getting involved in the serial and in defending your characters or hating situations you don't like in the serial.

I mean, if not the show and its characters, what else will be discussed here? Definitely not our personal lives! I would be very wary of a person who says that they will not hurt anybody's feelings just on a difference of opinion. While that is a very noble thought, it is not practicable!!!
There will definitely be a situation when you might talk cuttingly to another person. And yes things on the forum will also take an ugly turn once in a while, because all of us are humans and we do tend to flow with emotions. I don't see that as an earth-shattering issue!! And that is the precise reason we have moderators. I think I will be lying if I say some posts did not upset me and that I did not reply to them with sarcasm and irritation.

Getting involved with the serial is not the issue, having arguments with another member is also not an issue for me. Knowing where to draw the line is the real issue!!! And while I might argue with another member about the serial, knowing when to stop the argument is crucial and important to me!
For me the serial ends the moment I switch my TV off and the moment I log off IF.

We cannot let the actors or the characters rule our life, because all said and done, I have seen some mind-boggling performances by some amazing actors both in domestic and international arena in front of whom, Karan, Jatin and Shubhangi will look like woodwork. But as far as this serial is concerned, they are definitely doing a great job, specially Karan and have a high scope of reaching heights if they continue and improve the good work. But that is not reason enough to let them influence our personal lives!!!

JW, congratulations on a great post that will make everyone stop for a minute and think!!! And hopefully retrace their steps back if they are going down the wrong path!!
