Rani is an effortless actress...She could do almost all kinds of roles to the near perfection(her performance in the recent 'Mardaani' is mind blowing to say the least)...But too bad she didn't experiment much in the peak of her career and got stereotyped...Except for a Black, she hardly ever moved away from commercial genre and didn't try to reinvent herself until much later...

Aishwarya on the other hand who experimented a lot and took risky roles, is not so much of a natural talent, but she is one of the most hardworking and sincere actresses we have today...She kept herself always relevant and that's why even today she can be deemed as one of the top actresses...
