Will Dilwale meet MNIK fate?

MNIK was a most awaited movie as it marked the comeback of superhit jodi, SRK and Kajol. The multiple controversies surrounding the film generated a lot of buzz, and also SRK movie was releasing after almost more than a year. (mnik released in feb 2010, his last movie was rnbdj in dec 2008).

Despite MNIK having so much of buzz and controversies couldnt do well in India, and was regarded as below expectation due to the buzz movie generated. But the movie's overseas performance was indeed record breaking. The movie was well appreciated and won number of awards.

Once again the superhit jodi SRK and Kajol are making a comeback with Dilwale. After analyzing last release of SRK-Kajol, I am here to ask whether Dilwale meet the same fate as MNIK?

If Kajol's role in Dilwale is similar to K3G's Anjali then iss phillmm ko super duper hit hone se koi nahi rok sakat hai 😎.

This is Rohit Shetty we're talking about.. KJO can have moderate success movies but RS always has big hits. Varun is also there.. this is such a recipe for blockbuster.

No its RS film so even though it turns out to be a crap, it will be Entertaining like hell. Not gona be boring like mnik..oh and btw mnik was a HIT in India right, so what 'fate' are you implying here? Had it been a flop/disaster then i get it, but...

Not sure.. I absolutely loved MNIK storywise.. I dont know why it couldn't meet expectations in India.. The story/concept was good.. But I have huge doubt in Rohit Shetty Masala Movies.. They don't appeal me.. I dont know what goddamn role Kajol has in it.. She is the only reason+hope I might watch it in theatre.. 😒
