Hi there. My name is Kehkasha, new member of the new show.
Loving the concept and it is good to see that inter-faith marriage is shown in a positive way.
My question is does it look realistic. I mean how much ever good human we are and think of humanity and love above everything. But when it comes to religion we are really not that liberal as we were shown. At the end its not different states or caste, but a different religion.

I think the track had so much potential but was wrapped in like one day. Would have actually loved to see two families opposing at least for a week not years, to explore the track properly.

Would love to know how would you guys react to inter-faith marriages?

To no one's offence but i completely oppose inter religion marriage. Its like NOT ALLOWED. Full stop, but i dnt know why i am still loving this show, although i am keeping my fingers crossed for any propaganda but whats keeping me hooked is Ishaan's dillema, his mission is harming innocent people and i want to see how he deals with his guilt bcz he loves te Hooda family and Preet. I hope its shown with realism rather than fantasy .. one of the few stories i wont mind a sad ending, bcz in the world we live .. such stories can never have a happy ending.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE! It's high time they addressed a topic that's so relevant in today global environment. I also agree that it was treated quite superficially But I think the reason is that lots of people in the sub continent are still very controlled by the rights and wrongs of religion. It is the only thing that defines their moral compass ... For those who are willing to look past religion to consider that as humanity we have a moral compass ... It's easy to accept.

I myself have an interfaith marriage (25 years this December) both our families get on perfectly well with each other
... So to me the scenario is realistic... To those who have made up their minds that religion is the boundary ... They will have a hard time accepting... Live and let live...

Hi..welcome to the forum...😛

No offense to any one...I don't support inter caste marriage..
One of my friends had an intercast marriage though her family accepted her husband but both the families never get along together and often ends in fight when ever they meet..
Same had happened with my cousin too..

I don't have any problems with inter religious marriages. Only thing matters is that the person and his family have to be decent, good people and they should never try to force each other to change their beliefs.. Rather they should respect and support each other's beliefs. And as they said in yesterday episode, there is no guarantee that girl or boy will remain happy married to a person of the same religion.
Today's world is very different.. We travel to places, live in other countries, world with people of varied religions...There is a greater chance to meet, fall in love with people of other nationality or religion.

Also we need to change in our thinking and beliefs and follow only those rituals that are relevant and logical.. Rather than blindly following customs. Because change is the biggest truth of life.. Human beings need to evolve.. As per the need of the hour.

I have many friends and family who have had inter religious marriages and are happily living together.

For the track.. I think as it is a finite series the couldn't give more time to it... But I feel they did justice to the track in whatever limited time they had.

i am not against or for inter religion marriage
im not against becz... in end wtever b the religion
we all r human... with same blood flowing , breathing same air etc

i am not for it because, its difficult to get along with what we are not thought. for example... a christian never knws wht or how to behave in a mosque or temple (i m saying in a +ve way .. dont MU me) so it can create a issue... when small issues starts affecting... Love too gets weak... ego.. insecure etc pops up...

anyways im loving PKHJD want to knw how rizwan n preet goin to fight the struggle... will love win or lose

I think the fears were well discussed brought out may be in fit of an arguments... the guy was good.. who respect that he shouldn't run away with the girl.. n brought the girl back.. the fear of the father was what if he married again... what will be status of his child... n it was well answered.. atleast it's clear in the religion u can marry again.. it is better then betrayal.. in Hindus were two marriages are not permissible... but what can we do only charge them or take legal actions... which take a lot mre time n till then what happens all the dreams shatters life shatters..

Today what is imp we stay with the person whom we understand and can stay with or for the sake of family marry off n then cry whole life

Thank you for the comment.
I am not in favour of inter-faith marriage too without the intent of offending those who belief. I think only those who look past their belief can accept the concept. And good for them.

I agree the show is gripping and promising. I actually want a sad ending, as that would be more realistic considering the background of the protagonist and how the characters are etched.
