Chilling words hissed from irate Armaan. Mahira, being wound up and tense over her continual suspicion that Afreen was back, got really upset that she saw Armaan in the Neeli Chand Raat ritual instead of her own husband Azaad.
So she slapped him. Hard.
And Armaan has a chip on his shoulder about being slapped, a childhood trauma at the hands of an orphanage matron perhaps.
He menacingly backs her up against the wall after tossing the sieve into the pool. Eye to eye. Frown to frown. Stare to stare. Mahira is intimidated but not cowed, "Are you trying to behave badly with me in my own house?"
"No one slaps me. YOU looked at me through that infernal thing, and didn't recognize your husband's voice. With your rude attitude, its no wonder your husband isn't with you. He'd be better off dead !" <Note the irony of this later...>
<Whoa... that was harsh... Well, there's wrong on both sides here. Mahira overreacted and he triple overreacted. He was in fact an uninvited stranger in someone else's house, and just ruined a woman's romantic ritual. Tch tch rude.
But nevermind that. I'm applauding the appearance of a Male Lead worthy of Surbhi Jyoti. After KSG and KVB, finally someone new who matches SJ's screen presence and co-dominates the screen! Woo hOo!!! A treat to watch them. Their love Hate is going to be explosive...!! And vicious if this was any indication...>

Elsewhere, Afreen succeeds in her Mission: SuhaagRaat with Azaad. She magicks him and beds him and is confident her future child with him will be her key to ultimate evil powers. She goes to thank KB for inviting her back in and ruining Mahira's life.
To find the tables turned against her...
KB took her in to ruin Azaad and Mahira. Because she needed Mahira to be with her first born child, not Azaad...
Yeah Afreen had that face on while KB laughed her head off at Afreen's victory speech. W*F??
Ok, so KB is going to orchestrate Mahira and Armaan as a couple, so she can use their child to get her powers back... (*yawn*)
Afreen is incensed and she mutters a magic spell on a knife and goes to stab KB, but Azaad stands in her way and gets mortally wounded and dies.
Mahira stands her ground and fires back at Armaan for wishing ill things for her husband. "Since you spat that about my husband, why don't you accept one from me! Your heart shall never feel the happiness of true love !"
<Oh Boy... Armaan really rubs Mahira the wrong way... So many harsh things said in such a short first meeting...>
They suddenly hear KB shouting Azaad's name and they rush to see Azaad lying dead. And Armaan realizes what bad timing his words came at.
