Well, your statement is confusing like Ishita's current condition. Cuz before IshRa, Shagun was not depressed because of sex deprivation. At least not that it was shown on the show.

I feel Ishita is relating to Shagun bhalla , as in Shagun when married to Raman or the time when Ishita married Raman,.. That's was when she was Raman's 1st wife... If this is indeed a psychological track, Ishita has to have some source of information ( a diary or journal) to know about the nitty gritty stuff about Shagun and Raman and also about Ashok. So her already confused mind .. Latched onto that part about Shagun, the vengeful one...according to her, Raman's first love. And she's acting like Shagun of that time. The one who hated the Bhallas and hated Ishita

This I'm all assuming that the Cvs have a plan and are not pinch hitting at every episode without looking back at what they have produced... They have tendency to do that.
