Rakshanda Khan returns as naagin post maternity break: Playing an icchadhaari naagin seems to have become the new flavour on television. After Sara Khan, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan, the latest actress to turn snake-woman is Rakshanda Khan. She will be seen in the TV show Neeli Chatri Waale after a 10-month maternity break. "It's an interesting character and not a typical icchadhaari naagin. I won't stick out like a sore thumb in those Amrapali costumes. I will be shown as a normal woman in different get-ups," she says. The actress left her daughter's side probably for the first time since her birth. "I am fortunate to have Sachin (Tyagi) as my husband. He took a two-day leave from work to take care of our child so that I could shoot. On the first day after wrapping up, I rushed back home to be with my child without even removing my make-up. It was amusing as she couldn't recognise me for about two minutes. It was only when I picked her up that she understood that I was her mother," she adds. And when does she plan to return with full-fledged roles? "TV is my first love. I have been spoilt with good shows and great roles. Even the cameos I have played have been strong and substantial. So something exciting should come my way to prompt my return," she replies.
