Does Manik have a brother in KY2? If the latest track in KY2 Season 2 is anything to go by, the possibility of Maddy being Manik's brother in KY2 is a real & enticing possibility. After all, there has to be some reasonable explanation for Madhyam Singhania's sudden arrival in Space Academy. There has to be a link back to Season 1 & the most interesting angle is Manik!
So, Is Maddy Manik's Brother in KY2 Season 2?
In Episode 12 of KY2 Season 2, dated September 21st, 2015, an elderly man appears on the scene. Who is he and how does he know Nandini? Nandini meets him in the college and escorts him to the hall during Maddy's talent show performance. Maddie is shocked to see him and stops performing abruptly.
Who is this mystery man? He messages Nandini to tell her he's arrived which means Nandini and him have been in contact. If the Manik track is true, he's probably Manik's father (or grandfather in a less likely scenario). And if he is Manik's father, and Maddy is his son, Maddy is Manik's brother!
Maddy Mystery Solved?
Do you remember when Maddy was complaining about SPACE academy to someone on the phone? Who was it? Manik! But how is it that Manik had a brother and no one knew? It's all a big mystery!
This latest track of KY2 is a great one. It adds to the depth of the show and strengthens Maddy's character (which, by the way, is being played to perfection by Yuvraj Thakur). There's an eerie similarity in the way Maddie and Manik sing and Nandini seems to have joined the dots.
The Case Against the Brother' Angle
On the flip side, the surnames are an issue. Manik is a Malhotra while Maddy is a Singhania. Unless Madhyam lied about his surname, it will be difficult to accept the brother' angle. Or, Maddy could be Nyonika's son from another marriage, which means that the mystery man in Episode 12 is not Manik's dad.
