Arijit is the next Atif Aslam he got famous by copying atif tone in Tum Hi Ho...He dont posses the quality of a playback voice like veteran Udit Narayan , Sonu Nigam or Kumar sanu...playback basically means a voice which can suite actors faces ...he is just a lucky guy that bollywood doesnt need a playback voice any more ...upto now he sang for akhsey srk but none of them were looking good in lypsynch...ab toh salman khan ke uper bhi rahat ke awaz chal jati hai ab woh zamana nahi raha actor ka singer ke saath connection

For me he is only below Kishore and Rafi. Has surpassed Sonu, Udit and Sanu.

Sonu Nigam is on par with Rafi excellence he is as versatile as rafi was have sang almost every genre with exellence be it classical,ghazal,qawail,rock,pop,filmy,hi pitch,low bass songs everything...indirectly according to you arijit surpass rafi too lol at the logic 😆 Arijit singh is MONOTONOUS sound same in every damm song he dont have power to modulate his voice according to the demand ...ek he awaz main gata hai
