If you make it CI X 20 it still needs to make 320cr. Either Jaaju is lying that Soooraj asked 8cr from local distributors/exhibitors, or Sooraj-Fox are too ambitious about this project.

Diwali films generally dont do well compared to Eid or Xmas. In reality even 100cr is tough. Keeping in view everything-hype, Salman factor etc IMO 250cr is best case scenario so far. If WOM is good it will go beyond 300cr. But everything in the film rests too much on nostalgia factor.
