Why is Alia treated as a kid

Alia is 22...and yet she is treated as a kid, within and without d industry. I mean, its strange considering at dat age, many actresses in the 90's had already achieved their peaks- Karisma, kjaol etc. In the 2000's, Kareena, Amrita, Bipasha etc were all doing mature roles by 22.

Because she acts childish/dumb too after that KWK fiasco! 😆

I'm 93' born. I completely agree with you on her kiddish avatar. But I think Alia represents the youth- that is her image. Anyone from the ages of 14-20 I feel can relate to her. Also Karan has kind of babied her and I feel like that's why she is treated like that- she also looks very young. Parineeti Kriti are only a few years elder to her but I feel like they lack the same persona that Alia has. Even anushka is just 88 born. Alia just acts young and I'm not sure if that is a good thing- because I feel like it translates on screen which is what I don't like.

Also Athiya sheety is the same age as Alia. I feel like the 90's kids are a talented bunch and there should be more talent coming into Bollywood no doubt about that

Karishma, Kareena all left their schools and came to movie industry by 16-17. Today's parents want their children to finish their education first, then consider their career choices. Or else, Saif's daughter or Sridevi's daughter would have been launched years before. (Sridevi herself was a child actress. But she did not want her daughter to leave her education).

So true...as a 2000 born, even I'm surprised at the treatment she receives. 😲

She is treated like a kid because she looks like a kid. There is nothing womanly or feminine about her. When Deepika, Sonakshi, Anu started, they were also 22 but they actually looked like women not some 11 year old wannabe

Both deepika and anushka worked with shahrukh when they were 20 years old but they were treated as woman but they look mature that's why. Alia looks like a kid though
