Writers should make the lead character likable. And when in forum, people start bashing a good character and measure her with a very different yardstick, other people are bound to measure the lead also with the same yardstick. And if the lead fails this test, who is to blame? I know for writers Anandi is more important than Mangala. And I also thanked them for the way they did show real women empowerment in Jhalra. And if the story is going downhill after that, I will also criticise them.

Empowerment indeed😛😆
Is empowerment all about throwing out Akheraj?

You throw one Akharaj in and there are 100s of them out there.

Is empowerment is all about spending life trying to get rid of Akherajs f the world?

Is empowerment is all about thriving and prospering living life on one's own terms despite the presence of menacing Akherajs all around?

Is true empowerment is about thriving only in the absence of Akheraj?

What empowerent happened there?

Have any of these women in Jhalra have made a life for themselves after throwing him in? Have they been able to live life on their own terms? Have they freed themselves of slave mindset/victim mindset?

People pour so much sympathy on Mangala but if they really understand what Mangala is going through they wouldn't be blaming Anandi Dsa and that little girl's so called fickle mind.😛

What is empowerment? Becoming rich and arrogant? Jhalra story is much more realistic than anything seen in BV so far. The empowerment that Jhalra women displayed was not complete, it was just start. But after that start, story turned to useless custody drama. The main player who should have continued what she started is now turning grey with manipulations from rich BH people.
No women empowerment was seen in doing everything with the help of a rich and powerful family. It was mostly like a fairy tale before they brought Jhalra.

Last paragraph, how do you know what some lesser mortals like me don't? Mangala is as selfish and as possessive as Anandi. And she's alone while there's a whole family - her ex's family to be precise behind Anandi not to mention the wealth and status. All the points come down to what Anandi can give and what M can give. That means poor don't have rights because they can't provide as much as the rich.
