Nivedita Basu turns Producer for &TV show

As per a reliable source, "The channel has approved Nivedita's show, and work on it has started. However, the show is still in its nascent stage, and the story line is being developed as of now."
For the uninitiated, Nivedita and Vikas Gupta, who is the Head of Fiction, & TV, have had a great association in the past, when they had been the creative master minds behind many hit shows in Balaji Telefilms.
The idea of the channel now is to churn a realistically entertaining show for the viewers, with Nivedita Basu helming it as Producer.
We tried calling Nivedita, who is presently the Creative Director of the Balaji shows like Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, but she remained unavailable.
We tried reaching out to Vikas also, but did not get any revert.
As for Nivedita, she joined Balaji Telefilms in the year 2000 and soon went on to head the team of shows Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kavyanjali, Kahiin Toh Hoga, Kahiin Kissi Roz, K. Street Pali Hill, Kis Desh Main Hai Meraa Dil and many more. She has also worked in Colosceum Media as the Vice - President, Scripted Programming, and has been the Creative Director for the popular series 24.

well for that channel, a TRP of less than 0.5 is ok and am sure that's what the figures will be when show aired

how many guesses the show will be khichdi recipe with ingredients of all "K" shows ???

While I don't understand how a channel would hire this person when her immediate show has been such a disaster.

I guess this is what you get when you're associated with clout wielding folks, while the rest of the workforce has to work out of their skins, some people have a free-ride.
