Guys, I just went for an excursion to Pottermore after a long time. My main, toughest exams are over and my birthday is coming really soon, so I thought it would be nice to visit the old, rustic Pottermore website again...

And Oh my God! What did I see when I got there?

It has COMPLETELY CHANGED!

The Pottermore correspondent calls it as the 'shiny new website'.
And it is sooo beautiful! Breathtaking and elegant! We don't have the same accounts and stuff...and I'm still to figure out how Sorting and Wand selection work (Rumours say that we can even discover our Patronus).
But Gosh! The way they have put up the things...quoting the books, the backgrounds, the sketches, the vast website, it beautiful!!!

And this time, Pottermore in not just books and Hogwarts, it is also about everything related to the Harry Potter franchise. The films, the books, casting, sequels, prequels, gossip, news, EVERYTHING under the umbrella of the new Pottermore.com.

And the cherry on the cauldron cake, (I'm quoting the correspondent directly here) The new Pottermore logo is in J.K Rowling's handwriting!

It's beautiful people. And going by the date of the correspondent's post, 22nd September, the website has been freshly activated todaay!!

Don't wait! Just hurry to the Pottermore town and have a glimpse into this new world!

Aru.. It's good to see you! 😊 It has been long..

Pottermore.. I really was excited when I read about launching the website again.. I really was upset when the site stopped working for me.. It had almost been a year.. Hence reading about a new decked up website was just awesome..

I totally agree the new site looks fabulous and elegant.. There are loads of stuff to go through and many things to learn more about HP.. But that's all it is.. Learning new things is awesome but I totally miss the interactive gaming and stuff that made Pottermore all magical.. Gone are the accounts and all our achievements..Our collections and badges.. I wish they still put it up so that we can at least access them..

Reading is fun but the gaming was what actually made Pottermore the coolest website.. I am gonna miss it a lot.. Agreed there is going to be new stuff everyday for us to read and also exclusive news and footage from The Fantastic Beasts movie ( which I am totally looking forward to..😳).. But duelling and making potions and our vault.. Ahh I miss the old one a lot.. There has been talk about adding the sorting into house process and also patronus.. But let's see..

I so agree with both of you.
As much as I loved the website, my first query was, where are our old accounts?
They actually made us a part of the world, and not just a mere observer...
Even I miss the exploration and potions and duels...why did all of that stuff go...
But there is a silver lining...
We will be sorted, I wonder if that is a hint to individual profiles...if we can not play, at least there can be some sort of official record of us as Hogwarts students...
Oh, I wish...
