Hi Everyone,

My name is Payal and I live in the US in NY. I will be celebrating my second Karwa Chauth this year. However, since I am not a north Indian, I don't know all the must do's of the festival and what are the pooja items that I must have and all that. Last year I did it with my neighbor and she bought everything and guided me, but now since it has been too long, I am not sure if I remember everything correctly. If someone could help me out with the details I will be very grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Payal

Thank you so much Naina. Even though it is not part of my south Indian culture, I like the concept a lot and that is why I keep the fast and celebrate it. However I want to do it right because it is something that is very important and I don't want to make any mistake.
Thanks for your reply....
