Nicely written as usual 👏 and I do understand your POV about Ranaji .. but somehow I m not sure if I can fully agree to this 🤔 ...
I do understand Ranaji's anger and how he fell in Wilkinson's trap .. his reaction as a husband is totally justified too .. But my main issue is the inhuman way in which he left Gayatri in that jungle to die .. He can kick her out of palace or just leave her in Maayka .. that would hv been more realistic and human to do na .. But instead he takes this twisted route of leaving her in jungle to die .. In fact as a married woman I too can understand what u r saying and mayb my husband wolud hv fallen in this trap too .. but he would not leave me in jungle to die .. Max he will ask for divorce or will ask me to go back to my house ..
Ranaji is a well educated man and a king too .. So I expect a classy behaviour from him even if he feels his wife cheated .. he could hv dealt with it in a more sensible manner irrespective of his anger ...
I know jungle scene will give further scope for drama and eventually romance too but characterwise I felt Ranaji took a complete backseat from what we saw in initial episodes ..
Coming to Gayatri , here I fully agree with u that she could hv at least informed Rajmata about the Wilkinson matter .. Keeping everyone in dark and secretly going to meet him at night was a mistake on her part and I mentioned this in my friday take too when that episode aired .. her decision was more emotional one than practical ..
Yes, I completely agree with you about Ranaji leaving Gayathri in Jungle was inhuman and no other husband of 20th century would have done. But just a correction here. He din't leave her there to die but he very much expected her to go to her Maika. That is the reason he was surprised and sarcastically said what she didn't go to her maika also means she doesn't belong to there also?
And about Ranaji's character, yes the CVs need to give scope to emphasize and also make his character strong. So far it was Rajmata who was taking decisions, but now on I would love to see Ranaji take the reigns in his hand and lead his state and involve with them to flourish the state.
At this moment I am not looking for any romance as it will be forced and a bit clinched also as he is still deeply in love with his 1st wife. So I want Gayathri to win his heart with her words and deeds and make her own place without him knowing and that should be natural and till then I am Ok with their kit pit fights.
