Why Nachiket didn't hug ragini to night

I dont know its me only or anyone else too felt like that but i didn't find the depth or connect in ranbir-ragini scene that may b due to acting skills(avinash) or writing skills. It seems like they are in a hurry to sort out all the problems in one go as it is going to end now. But that sudden realization and apology seems really vague actually rather i felt the nachiket apology more convincing in his usual stubborn pattern. I know most of u were waiting for the breakdown of N in front of R, but dont u feel guys that it needs more frankness in their relationship to show their feelings in real sense to each other which has not developed yet.
Lastly i say that there is lot more to explore in their relationship which we have not witnessed yet & they r ending the show. 😭 😭 😭
