Why Drashti Dhami is ignored by BW producers? - Page 4

.. she is not a star kid .. thats the main reason ..

Plus i think with the amount of shows she has done, she is too exposed... the "new" factor is not there and we know how our producers like to cast 20 year old with 40-50 yr old uncles

... personally though not a fan of her acting .. but when has that ever been a factor in BW ?

And honestly speaking all actors are doing good,GC, BS,KSG at least they tried for their dream,every one should try at lest for once to achieve their dreams,these guys are a lot of better than Uday,Imraan,Abhishek,Sooraj criminal pancholi. And Drashti she was never into Bolly race,she is not interested ,she love telly a lot.

Ok i make fun of tv actors trying in movies a lot ... but mainly thats bec i dislike the actors that do the trying - like ksg, Gc

but seriously our bollywood has become a complete family business ... and no one with actual talent can get in ... even after "casting couch" they end up with d grade roles .. this is just sad

Maybe she is not that interested in BW. But then again she did a very small role in Bullet Raja, so maybe she just did not get good offers. The best time for her to transition was during her JDJ stint, when she was at peak of her popularity and looked good too. If nothing materialised at that time, there is little scope now. Of course it is very difficult to break through in Bollywood without right connections, the fate of TV actors is a testimony to that. And heroines have even shorter lifespan. Besides now she is too exposed.
