They are not trying to pass her off as 18 years old girls. She's is 27 in the show. Once they said 21 in articles and then 27 in the show.

@TM - She's not ambitious enough nor really interested in BW. She says she would do roles and/or movies like Queen, JWM, Fashion if she's offered. That's the only time when she shows interest in it. But then again she doesn't want to work her for it. Instead she wants such roles to just come to her as again she isn't ambitious nor really that interested in BW. Even A list actresses in BW don't get such roles easily and after so long they get it, how will she get it? Besides she's married now, so I doubt anything can happen now...

For All these tv actors and especially actresses , it's hard to make it in movies since they have got a strong bahu/beta/Beti image going for them. And unless Rajshri is making the movie, those images go against you !

She is married already. and since when BW needed talent to survive? BW is full of non-talented people.

on topic, TV is a big medium, why do people want their fav in movies? Look at GC,BS,KSG. DD and SI fans shud be happy that these women are doing gud on TV rather than being a flop on big screen.

I don't think, she has the figure (glamour) Bollywood expects of its female lead. If she tries to fit in, she becomes Parineeti, neither good for bolly nor telly. Jenny seemed to have had it. But her debut movie was with... forget it.

It is mainly male TV stars who have got entry (may not have tasted success) to Bollywood. Vidya Balan was not a TV "star". People were enquiring, which was her role in Hum Paanch. Prachi's success is only due to Ekta. Otherwise, she is not good for Telly too.

If the girls are part of long running show, they cannot hide their age like Katrina. Casting couch is not possible with famous faces. In this way, having familiarity with masses seems not an advantage, in fact a hindrance for female leads.

Exception for this is Pak tele industry. May be those faces are not familiar as Indian tele faces, so those girls are having a chance. For Indian girls, only route is modelling to Bollywood OR modelling to Telly. Telly to Bolly is hard.

I don't know, how easy is the reverse route. Bollywood to telly. I can't remember any recent Bollywood female lead who has done female lead in any serial. At most, they anchor some shows. But they don't act in a serial (even if they are sitting jobless).

Both industries have their own positive and negatives. Bollywood gives instant name, fame and money. Telly industry demands lot of hours, but it provides job security for years.

There was a blind yesterday which indicated towards her marriage, yes she got married but secretly and recently the parents of both bride and the groom came to know about it and they are trying to convince their parents etc etc.. 😃How could she focus on career if she has personal problems going on.

Whatever u said was rofl worthy.. Did u like follow her wedding?? If u did then you probably would know they married with consent from both sides plus the photos were everywhere.. Im no longer a huge crazy fan of her like I used to be.. But this is really funny.. 🤪Waise from whatever I seen from my friends posts on facebook, she is busy shooting for her show even with an eye infection, so yeah she seems pretty focused.. Ill never want to defend her like last time but this one is wrong so I thought Ill let u know.. 😳

OT : Drashti isn't interested in BW and she has said it time and again that she would only consider if offers like Fashion or Queen comes.. Plus I feel she wont fit in as a BW actor, she is quite lazy and unambitious, always clear that she works for the money and has no intention to be at top or whatsoever.. She takes her work as normal job thats all.. Plus she is uncomfortable in intimate scenes so BW is far away for her.. Her acting isn't so great as well, she is just about decent(minus the times she has to be OTT).. Decent I said because at least she doesn't hyperventilate while acting.. She used to be quite sexy before marriage.. She is quite plum now but looks like she is on her way to lose the weight she gained.. Still I believe she wont fit in BW.. I rather have the tv stars remain in BW and stop embarassing themselves like GC/KSG/BS did.. Im not saying they arent talented, they are but some of them act as if they have always belonged to BW..
