Two different threads were merged - please restore them back

Hello.

Two of my threads were merged. These two were completely different and unrelated to each other and took a lot of time and effort to do. I'm not sure what was the logic behind it. If you guys start merging every thread then it will restrict any creativity or continuity. I went through the rules and it did not break any neither I was aware that this was going to happen or else I wouldn't waste my efforts just so that it could be buried. No explanation was given, no DT note was left and hence I'm unsure who to contact.

Can I please kindly request them to be restored and put an end to this practise. That is how it has always been and encouraged some great posters like (Cruiser, 9tanki, Punk etc) to have some humor and entertainment.

Feel sorry for your thread.

I just hope they stop it now.

I appreciate being active but a little due dilligence before the quick fingers will save trouble for all of us. My problem is I dont even know who merged it and why hence I cant even follow up with them otherwise one would blame the other and say this is beyond them to overrule and eventually the thread will die a slow and painful death -- having no fault of mine.

Just trying to figure out what is the criteria for merging. If this is the case then there should only be 14 threads active (for each contestant). Keeping all discussions within the same thread. It defeats logic alltogether.
