Nora no .

Story doesn't end there..

Ram and Sita comes back to Ayodhya and ram starts ruling Ayodhya.
Sita wil be pregnant.

One days he comes to know a man was talking bad about Ram and Sita ..

Sita because she was kidnapped and was held captive for so long. He questions her " purity"
And ram he says ram is not ashamed to take back Sita when she was with Ravan for so many years..

Sita already underwent and Agni parikksha. ( she was made to jump in fire and if she was not touched by Ravan nothing will happen to her )

Ram gets angry but responsibility of ram as the king of Ayodhya stops him and he decides to send away Sita to the forest.

Sita is left all alone in the forest by Lakshmana.

Valmiki ( writer of Ramayan) takes care of her and she gives birth to twin boys.

So the story ends with Sita going back to dharani ( Earth ) and ram making his twins the next kings and leaving Ayodhya

so no where it's suits kb

Technically they are some connection..
Not on the whole.. But parts..

1) Sita- adores her husband. She never questioned him about anything he did.
She jumped in the fire when her husband asked her to. She was left in jungle but still she never questioned him. Sita is more a devotee to ram than a wife / lover.
So is Pragya to abhi..

Surpphanka. Rejection by ram. Her ego and Lakshmana insulting her Is the root cause of everything.
Aaliya - rejected by Purab for bb. Her ego and her obsession are the reason.

Ravan - abhi- ram.

Ravan love his sister immensely and for his sister he goes to get Sita. Ofcourse surpphanka tells him Sita is v beautiful and I wanted her to be ur wife. She doesn't tell him the real truth while instigating.

So abhi was instigated by Aaliya. Only difference Sita got changed.lol
Ram-Loved and respected his family / elders. He was ready to leave everything and go to jungle for his father. Abhi loves and respects dadi to the same extent and will do anything for her.
So many minor things match

Compared just somethings.. Others match too..

But I have to agree to your lines regarding love.. Their love is more like Radha Krishna's love ..more childlike , purest , has more depth than it appears.
But It was like Krisha never goes back to Radha once he leaves Brindavan and it was written like he never reminisces her memories.

But we cant point out Ram's love for Sita as well. He is just more on principals and can sacrifice his love/life for them.

As I mentioned in one of the post Abhi never chooses principals over Pragya as Rama did . Ram is abode by Prncipals and his responsibilities as King and is forced to leave Sita. Before sending Sita away he approaches his brothers to take King's position , so that he can stay with Sita.
And after leaving her , Being emperor and having all luxury in the world , he never enjoyed it, he lived all his life in anguish after leaving her.

I know Raji..

Wat I am saying is ..

Waiting for ur lover to return ( Radha) is less painful.
Comparing to being left by ur husband due to his principles and people doubting her purity is more painful.

I stopped reading for a few hours when I was reading the part where Lakshman leaves Sita. Sita plight was miserable.

I see Pragya principles similar to Rams principles.

Ram and Sita were never together.. They had hell lot of problems.
Same are Radha and Krishna.
Only difference is ram and Sita are married.

:) Usually writers take essence from these epics only. The same way Indian tellysoaps never have any happy couple.

Hope Abhigya makes different path.

I am banking on the "Bhagya" aspect of the story.

By the way Ram and Sita lived few(12, I guess, did not remember number properly) happy years before going to forest and lived almost 13 years in forest happily. One year Sita stayed in Lanka and they are back to Ayodhya.
